Aysar Capys on 'To Focus Silence' label

The whole Aysar Capys' catalogue has finally been released on 'To Focus Silence' music label (distributed worldwide by Ignorelands). The alternative/medieval/rock band’s titles list is the following:

Medieval music carved in rock (1998)

The Sikilos Epitaph EP (2001)

Bellicha (2009)

The 1998 album is a collection of the original 1997–1998 demos (crude versions, no reworks in studio) that includes the band’s most iconic track ‘Como Poden per sas Culpas’, a Cantiga de Santa Maria from the Middle Ages. The Sikilos' EP contains four tracks, among which Joy Division’s 'Love will tear us apart' and a Ska rendition of an original medieval dance, an Estampie Royal. ‘Bellicha’ is a collection of all available tracks recorded by Aysar Capys (unfortunately the recording of the original Estampie Royal is irrimediably lost), with special guests The Afterglow performing their wonderful version of King Richard Lionheart’s 'Ja Nus Hons Pris’. The Afterglow were asked by Aysar Capys' leader to record the king’s lament because the band was no longer able to commit to recording sessions. The Turin based Britrock band kindly agreed, in the end adding a true pearl to the project.
