The Afterglow back on track
Turin based brit-rock band The Afterglow are back on track. Following the outstanding release of the band’s ‘best of' last January (Things I’ve lost — the greatest hints) a few news run through the grapevine — despite the apparent inactivity. First of all, the guys have a brand new EP ready to be released. Second, Mik & Dave started a parallel project named March The Third, releasing four tracks (including longtime Afterglow fans’ favourite 'Sinead’). Third, Mik & Dave met a fine bloke who also happens to be a fine keyboard player, therefore the band is going to be again a four piece lot. Fourth, in the meanwhile, longtime member and band’s pillar Alex Cherry started his own project and decided to pursue the new path, putting on hold his status as The Afterglow drummer. Fifth, as we have written that it’s gonna be a four piece band, the guys are looking for a new drummer: he who dares trying to fill in the boots for mighty Alex Cherry is very welcome. Casting is ongoing (check the band’s social channels). One thing is sure, there will be more news soon…
